Your new role

We are seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Architect to join our team on an initial 6-month contract. This role will play a key part in delivering a cloud transformation initiative, implementing a new backup and recovery platform, and supporting the migration of services from on-premises to the cloud.

• Lead the migration of infrastructure from on-premises to Azure (IaaS).
• Define and communicate networking architecture patterns to stakeholders.
• Implement Disaster Recovery runbooks using Rubrik and Rubrik Cloud Vault.
• Provide hands-on support and expertise with VMware on-premises environments.
• Oversee the migration of Oracle databases to the cloud.
• Produce high-quality design documentation with attention to detail.

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience in Azure cloud migrations (IaaS).
• Strong understanding of network architecture and cloud networking principles.
• Hands-on experience with Rubrik and Rubrik Cloud Vault for backup and DR.
• Deep technical knowledge of VMware infrastructure.
• Experience migrating Oracle databases to cloud platforms.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
