About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team on a part-time, fully remote basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage AP processes with precision and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate banking records.
- Oversee payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice and payment queries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end close processes.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in finance, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable.
- Proven experience in bank reconciliations, banking, and AP processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote setting.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
