Join a Leading Professional Services Organisation as a Senior HR Advisor
Are you an experienced Senior HR Advisor or perhaps an HR Advisor looking to take the next step in your career within a professional services environment? We’re recruiting a Senior HR Advisor to provide a proactive HR advisory service to an international territory/division for a professional services organisation operating from Southampton, Hampshire.
Reporting to a regional HR Business Partner, you’ll provide expert HR guidance across international teams, working closely with Partners and managers to deliver proactive, people-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality HR advice to managers and partners in the international office.
- Resolve employee relations issues including grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Interpret and apply HR policies in line with international employment legislation.
- Support annual HR processes such as salary reviews and bonus recommendations.
- Coordinate internal and external secondments and employee transfers.
- Lead HR inductions and onboarding for new joiners.
- Conduct exit interviews and contribute to retention strategies.
- Collaborate on student schemes and training programmes with recruitment.
- Identify and implement HR process improvements.
- Generate HR reports and support the wider HR team during peak periods.
Candidates
We're seeking a professional HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor who has a background in professional services organisations or similar – e.g. Accountancy, Legal Practice, Management consultancy etc..

- Ideally, CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
- Highly organised with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Discreet, detail-oriented, and confident in managing sensitive matters.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside core hours due to time zone differences.
- 3 days per week on site in Southampton / 2 from home
- Hours 9–5 or possibly 10–6 if better suits
