Your new company

This manufacturing business based in Stockport is looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Administrator to join their operations team. This role is ideal for someone starting out in their administrative career or looking for their second role within an office environment.

Your new role

As an Administrator, you will provide essential support to their operations and production teams. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing customer orders and inputting data accurately into internal systems

  • Handling purchase orders (POs) and ensuring correct documentation

  • Uploading information and documentation to business systems

  • Updating and maintaining spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets)

  • Assisting with general administrative tasks to support the wider team

  • Ensuring all data entry is completed to a high standard with excellent accuracy

This role has a strong data entry focus, so attention to detail and consistency are key.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role:

  • Have previous experience in administration and working in an administration team
  • Early in their career — either your first role in admin or stepping into a second administrative position.
  • Educated to a strong academic standard
  • Confident in using Excel and able to manage simple spreadsheets
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
  • A good communicator with a positive, can‑do mindset
  • Keen to learn and grow in a supportive team
