Administrator | Office-based | York

I am supporting a client in York who needs an experienced Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy and supportive environment where attention to detail and great communication skills are key.

In this varied admin position, you’ll help keep the team running smoothly by handling day‑to‑day administrative tasks and supporting internal processes. You’ll be a key point of contact, ensuring information is handled accurately and professionally.
Typical duties include:
  • Managing incoming enquiries and directing them appropriately
  • Accurately updating internal records and databases
  • Processing referrals/information and ensuring all details are captured correctly
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating information
  • Producing letters, emails and basic reports
  • General office administration, including filing, scanning and document handling
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure workflows run efficiently
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong administrative experience in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills (telephone & written)
  • Solid organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to work on site full time in York
  • Someone who can pick things up quickly and work with accuracy
