Part-time Compliance Administrator | Nelson | £22,000 - £25,000 DOE

Location: Nelson | Office-based (no remote working)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum (pro-rata)
Annual Leave: 23 days plus bank holidays (increasing with service)

Overview
We are seeking a professional and highly organised Compliance Administrator to support HSEQ, ISO, and project teams within a busy and dynamic office environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to compliance and operational support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and share sustainability data, including support for BREEAM teams.
  • Monitor, develop, and review controlled documents.
  • Assist with ISO internal audits, with progression to Lead Auditor (training provided).
  • Support Health & Safety compliance monitoring via project management platforms (training provided), attend meetings, take minutes, and track follow-up actions.
  • Assist QS team with subcontractor compliance, document processing, and compiling project completion records.
  • Support onboarding and rollout of compliance management platforms to subcontractors.
  • Provide general administrative support to operations teams.
  • Cover reception duties during absences.

Person Specification
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Construction industry experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially and financially aware.
  • Ability to prioritise competing workloads and work on own initiative.
