A public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Administrator to join its team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive administrator to support a busy project-focused team, ensuring the smooth delivery of development and improvement programmes. An immediate start is preferred.
Your new role
As a Senior Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to a busy Development Team, helping to coordinate projects, manage records, and maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects progress efficiently while delivering a professional and customer-focused service.
Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Providing comprehensive administrative support across a range of development and improvement projects.
Maintaining accurate project records, documentation, contracts, and filing systems.
Coordinating communication between stakeholders to support the smooth delivery of projects and project handovers.
Producing reports, monitoring project activity, and supporting performance and compliance processes.
Assisting with financial administration, including invoice processing, expenditure tracking, and funding-related documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience within a senior administrative role
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience maintaining accurate records, databases, and reporting systems.
High levels of attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation and data.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.
A proactive and customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills.
