Exciting New Job Opportunity – Office Assistant
Your new company
An exciting opportunity to join a modern British design company that manufactures, retails and supplies contemporary design products. Join a dynamic and creative team who are looking for a new addition to their team to assist with the office on a day-day basis.
Your new role
- Assist department heads with day-to-day office operations, including event and showroom set-ups
- Maintain office supplies and service contracts
- Purchase invoice processing and maintaining supplier account ledgers
- Assist the buying team with managing outstanding purchase orders, deliveries, and price updates
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Support onboarding, IT installs, and technical support calls
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in office administration or a logistics admin position
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with accounting software would be a bonus (Sage, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong analytical ability and high level of accuracy
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines both independently and as part of a team
What you'll get in return
- Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience)
- Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am- 6pm
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays (increasing to 33 days with service)
