Administration Assistant - Eastleigh - £15/hour - 3-Month Contract

Your new role

As an Administration Assistant within the internal Talent team, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth running of recruitment, onboarding, and colleague experience activities.
You’ll become the go‑to support for Talent Business Partners, helping coordinate key processes and ensuring data accuracy across systems and documentation.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Provide professional, reliable administrative support to the talent team.
  • Maintain accurate talent-related data, records, and trackers.
  • Manage the Talent inbox and respond to routine queries.
  • Coordinate interviews from start to finish, including scheduling and candidate communication.
  • Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) fully updated.
  • Support a high-quality candidate experience through timely updates and clear communication.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure recruitment processes run smoothly.
  • Assist with internal mobility and talent development activities.

What you'll need to succeed

To hit the ground running in this role, you will bring:

  • A strong administrative background - ideally within recruitment, HR, talent, or a people-focused environment.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail with confident data and documentation management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Experience using an ATS or recruitment platform.
  • An understanding of best practice candidate experience.
  • Experience supporting internal recruitment, coordination, or talent operations.
  • You’ll be proactive, professional, approachable, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and supportive approach to stakeholders.
