Job Title: Accounts Senior
Your new company
You’ll be joining a well‑established and highly respected professional services firm with a strong presence across the UK. Known for its supportive culture and commitment to delivering exceptional client service, this firm offers a collaborative environment where people genuinely enjoy working together. With continued growth across Scotland, the Glasgow office is thriving, giving you the chance to contribute to a forward‑thinking team while benefiting from the stability of a long‑standing organisation.
Your new role
As an Accounts Senior, you’ll take on a key position within the business services team, managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors. You’ll be responsible for preparing year‑end accounts, reviewing work completed by junior staff, and supporting clients with day‑to‑day queries. You’ll also assist in mentoring and developing part‑qualified team members, ensuring high-quality delivery across the department. This role provides the perfect balance of technical work, client interaction, and team involvement.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be an experienced accounts professional, ideally fully qualified (ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience, with strong working knowledge of preparing statutory accounts and supporting owner‑managed businesses. You’ll demonstrate excellent attention to detail, the ability to prioritise workloads effectively, and confidence when speaking with clients. Experience using cloud‑based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks will be an advantage, as will a proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team.
What you'll get in return
In return, you’ll join a firm that invests heavily in its people, offering ongoing professional development and clear opportunities to progress. You can expect a competitive salary, generous benefits package, hybrid working options, and the chance to be part of a friendly and inclusive Glasgow team. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a senior role within a growing practice that genuinely values its employees and encourages long-term career growth.
