Hays are pleased to be partnered with a manufacturing company is based in Hamilton. This role is initially for 1 month but could lead to an extension. The role is office-based, working with the company looking for someone to start immediately. The working days/hours are Monday – Friday, 9 am - 5pm. They can be flexible on start and finish times.

In your new role you will be reporting to the finance manager, completing largely financial and general administrative duties. You will be responsible for creating and updating spreadsheets of daily transactions. Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments via email and telephone. Updating daily banking transaction records. Finally, the large bulk of the role will be centred around processing invoices.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate competency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. Have a customer focus on great written and verbal communication skills. You will need to have a strong can-do attitude and willingness to commit yourself to different tasks which may be asked of you. Additionally, you will need to be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively.

In addition to a competitive hourly rate, you will be paid weekly through an efficient online timesheet process and will also receive expert advice from a Hays consultant providing support and guidance throughout the duration of your contract. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills and gain hands-on experience in a large and busy working environment. You will receive bespoke in-house training and will be closely guided to your success.
