Accounts Semi Senior Job, Manchester City Centre, £25k-£30k with study support at a leading firm

This is a progressive opportunity for a motivated accounts professional to join a well-established, leading firm based in the heart of Manchester who have presence across the north west. With over 30 years of experience and establishment they specialise in departments ranging from audit and advisory to tax and more, servicing a varied portfolio of clients, typically professional services based, for you to further your practical knowledge. Due to ongoing internal growth within the practice and consistent new business, an accounts semi senior job has now arisen.
Your new role
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need previous accountancy practice experience, a minimum of 2 years’, whilst either being part qualified in your ACCA or ACA qualifications. Previous experience preparing statutory accounts for a mixed bag of clients and VAT returns will be required to be successful in this role. Other duties consisting of training juniors, working on an audit file or bookeeping is desired but not mandatory.

Your new role
You will be placed into a successful and talented team of accounts professionals to work alongside daily. Your day-to-day duties will involve preparing year-end financial statements for clients whilst building long-lasting relationships with them and helping them when required. You will be calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities, whilst forming tax planning ideas. You will also be continuing your own personal progress to achieve and be successful in your ACCA/ACA qualifications, this will consist of shadowing peers, supporting your managers and seniors to deliver advice will also be expected of you.
