Your new company

I'm partnering with a dynamic, forward-thinking business based in Belfast that’s currently on the lookout for a talented Part-Time Bookkeeper. This modern and rapidly expanding group of companies is creating a brand-new role to strengthen its finance team. With a close-knit culture, a collaborative spirit, and a reputation for delivering highly personalised client service, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuinely rewarding environment where your contributions will be valued and your work will make an impact.

Your new role

Joining this close-knit team, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing core financial tasks across the business. Your key duties will include:

  • Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial records for each company in the group

  • Perform regular bank, credit card, and account reconciliations

  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and payroll entries

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports

  • Collaborate with external accountants for tax preparation and audits

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, candidates should demonstrate proven experience in bookkeeping or finance, with a preference for those familiar with multi-entity environments. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage is essential. A solid grasp of UK accounting standards—including VAT regulations and payroll processes—is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple business units. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are also key to thriving in this position.

What you'll get in return

This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where creativity and innovation are woven into every aspect of its work. You’ll become part of a warm, inclusive team that thrives on fresh ideas and fosters respectful, collaborative working relationships. Individuality and initiative aren’t just welcomed—they’re celebrated, with every contribution valued.

The role is part-time, offering flexibility of 2–3 days per week. It’s perfectly suited for those seeking a healthier work-life balance or more adaptable working arrangements. A hybrid approach combines both office-based and remote work, giving you the best of both worlds. The pro rata salary for this position ranges from £32,000 to £36,000, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to recognising and rewarding talent.
