Sales Ledger Administrator

Your New Company:

Hays are pleased to have partnered with a growing and successful manufacturing company based in Cardiff who are looking to appoint their next Sales Ledger Administrator to join their friendly and growing team. Your New Role:

As Sales Ledger Administrator you will be tasked with the following (not limited to):

  • Record and process customer orders received via web, email, and telephone (both Trade and Retail).
  • Generate order forms and dispatch notes promptly and accurately.
  • Process credit card payments as needed.
  • Verify stock availability and inform customers of estimated dispatch dates.
  • Assist with coordinating shipments.
  • Log and distribute technical product enquiries to relevant colleagues.
  • Ad hoc credit control

What You Will Need To Succeed:

  • Previous Experience in a Similar Role
  • Keen Attention to Detail
  • Experience working within a fast-paced and high volume environment
  • Highly Organised
  • Effective Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Polite and Professional Telephone Etiquette
  • Customer-Centric Approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Finance Systems such as Oracle Netsuite, Sage 200 and XERO.


What You Will Be Offered:

  • Competitive salary of up to £25,000 dependent on experience
  • Annual Leave entitlement of 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holiday rising with length of service
  • Statutory pension contribution
  • Half-day on Friday, finishing at 2:30pm
  • Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • A very friendly and supportive working environment
