Transactions Manager (Housing)
Location: Liverpool (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Transactions Manager to oversee our accounts payable team and ensure the efficient processing of all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housing and a proven track record in managing accounts payable functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyse accounts payable data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in managing an accounts payable team.
  • Previous experience in the housing sector is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
