The Opportunity
The Cambridge office is expanding rapidly, and they are looking for a talented Private Client Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees, and partnerships, delivering bespoke tax planning and advisory services.
This hybrid role requires in-office collaboration three days a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, delivering strategic tax advice
- Lead and review self-assessment tax returns with precision and compliance
- Advise on income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and more
- Collaborate across departments to provide holistic client solutions
- Build and nurture client relationships, identifying growth opportunities
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of learning
To be successful
- ATT, CTA, or equivalent qualification in tax/accounting
- Proven experience managing private client tax portfolios
- Trust and partnership experience (rural client exposure a plus)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a client-first mindset
- Ability to spot and develop new business opportunities
- Adaptability to evolving tax legislation
