A growing international organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional with strong SAP experience to take ownership of AP processes across multiple European entities while supporting wider finance operations in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily posting and allocation of cash across multiple European entities.
- Processing payment runs across multiple European entities.
- Completing month-end bank reconciliations.
- Reviewing and processing purchase order invoices, including 3-way matching of invoice, purchase order and goods receipt.
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and account balance queries.
- Creating and maintaining vendor master data, including bank detail verification.
- Processing and reviewing invoices through SAP and Basware.
- Managing AP inboxes and responding to supplier and stakeholder queries.
- Processing non-PO invoices and ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained.
- Supporting month-end close activities, including accruals, clearings, intercompany transactions and GR/IR reconciliations.
- Providing occasional support to the Accounts Receivable function (full training provided).
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
✅ Proven Accounts Payable experience
✅ Previous SAP experience (essential)
✅ Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
✅ Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
✅ Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
✅ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
✅ The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines
✅ Previous SAP experience (essential)
