Accounts Payable Assistant
Your new company
A leading higher education organisation based in Glasgow is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant. This role is a 3-month contract. The role is hybrid with the company looking for someone to start immediately. The hours of work will be Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be expected to review daily invoices on both supplier and subcontractor ledgers and then match supplier invoices on the system. You will also be expected to register queries with the buying team as well as dealing with supplier reconciliations. There will also be other general accounts administration and mailbox management. Three-way matching is also a desired skill for the role.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate competency in the use of computers with the ability to process high volumes accurately. There will also be a need to have a strong can-do attitude and the ability to communicate with others in the team clearly and concisely. Additionally, you will need to be highly organised and have excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively.
