I am working with an organisation in South Bristol who are looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their shared services team on an ongoing, temporary basis. Pay for the role is £12.05 per hour + holiday. The hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00. The organisation offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase Order raising
• Processing invoices through the approval process
• Posting invoices to SAP
• Payment processing (BACS, CHAPS and Cheque runs
• Statement reconciliations and queries from suppliers
• Maintaining vendor account details in SAP
• Liaising with stakeholders, business and external companies to action requests for site access to predefined standards
• Following business defined protocols for site security
• Meeting room bookings and coordination
• Travel booking requests
• Reception and switchboard

Person Specification:

• Experience of working in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience of administering high volumes of transactional activities.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders with the ability to communicate at all levels
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail whilst handling large volumes of work.
• Willingness to work flexibly across the service, quickly acquiring new skills and knowledge where necessary.
• Numerate and fluent in English
