An established organisation located in the Thurrock area, within commuting distance of Rainham, Gray and Ockendon regions, my client is seeking a detail-orientated Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team.

Your new role

Working as part of a friendly and professional accounts payable team, key duties will include:

• Processing and coding purchase invoices
• Query investigation and resolution
• Supplier updates and database maintenance
• Statement reconciliations
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Assist with creditor reporting
• Assist with internal and external audit queries
• Attend monthly meetings with AP Manager to review reconciliations and aged creditor reports

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience of accounts payable duties as part of your core role or having supported the accounts function. A confident approach to learning new systems and processes will be key.
