Our client is a leading provider of in early childhood care across the UK based in Salford. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract.

Your new role

As the Assistant Accountant, you will support the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for:

• Working through existing accounts payable backlog queries.
• Supporting management accounts, while also managing expenses and bank reconciliations

• Reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Collaborating with other stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have:

• Previous experience is accounts payable
• Have an understanding of accounting principals
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and be a problem solver

What you'll get in return

This is a temporary contract with possibility for extension. Full time with flexible working options available including hybrid working up to 3 day per week. Additional leave for your Birthday And Wellbeing Day Off.
