Your new company

You will be working for an employer of choice in Southampton who require an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Your new role

• Processing payment requests to ensure a swift and accurate service

• Liaising with suppliers in respect of their invoices and payment queries

• Posting payments and financial transactions

• Supplier statement reconciliations and credit control account reconciliations

• Management of aged ledger items

• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and project work

• Maintaining filing systems

• Assisting with internal billing queries

• Reviewing monthly transactions inline with month-end reporting

• Maintaining financial allocations between divisions.

• Deal with all queries around overdue invoices, supplier statement recs.

• Preparation and distribution of internal reports

• Producing and distributing remittance advices.

• Updating and maintaining supplier contact and master data records.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will require full right-to-work in the UK, with prior understanding of accounts payable within a UK finance function.

• Ability to understand and process financial data

What you'll get in return

• You will earn a competitive salary of circa £35,000 per annum
