I am partnering with an organisation in Swindon who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their small team as a result of organisational growth.

Your new role

As an Accounts Assistant, reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for :

• Banking and reconciliations.

• Supplier and BACS payments.

• Income processing.

• Supporting with the production of monthly management accounts, nominal ledger and cashbook, control accounts and supporting with year-end.

• In addition, you will prepare ad hoc reports and support with budgeting and forecasting as well as business partnering with internal stakeholders across the organisation.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• You will be AAT qualified or studying for CIMA/ACCA, or have relevant experience in accounting, including nominal ledger, VAT, month-end processes, reconciliations and reporting.

• You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be used to business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders at all levels.

• You will have good IT skills (ideally Sage) and Excel as well as excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
