Based in Renfrewshire, our client is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday-Friday 9am–5pm. The role is office-based and there is on-site parking & the offices can be accessed by local public transport links.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Accountant and working as part of a finance team of 7, the Accounts Assistant will undertake a range of duties and take a lead on accounts payable responsibilities. Your tasks will include; invoice processing, reporting, scheduling and preparing payments, resolving discrepancies with suppliers, reconciliations, fixed asset register maintenance, month-end duties and general associated finance administration.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally, you will have a good understanding of financial processes and have undertaken a similar role previously. Training can be provided in areas in which you are less experienced. This position would also suit a candidate who holds a relevant qualification or degree who is eager to learn and develop. You will have excellent attention to detail, an analytical mindset and have professional & personable communication skills.
