Your new role
An Interim Financial Accountant role to support the Year End and Audit process. Reporting to the Head of R2R you will support a range of year- end processes and projects. This will include preparation for the year-end close. Ad-hoc analysis for year-end reports. The extraction of data from systems and sense-checking for audit evidence. Delivery of standalone project tasks, such as system testing & data reconciliation. Respond to ad-hoc audit queries as required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant or finalist, with extensive experience in Financial Accounting roles, in large organisations. You will be used to year-end processes and working with auditors. You will be an expert in reconciliation work and investigating queries. Highly IT literate, you will be used to working with large ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle and have strong Excel skills. You will also have strong analytical skills and an attention to detail. Previous experience of working in a Shared Service Centre or a central finance function would be an advantage. You will also have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, working collaboratively with stakeholders and colleagues.
