Your new role

• Preparing journals and supporting month‑end close to strict group timetables
• Managing intercompany, fixed assets, cash management and balance sheet reconciliations
• Reviewing offshore processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and SLA performance
• Conducting initial P&L reviews and maintaining balance sheet integrity
• Updating SOPs and challenging inefficient processes to drive global consistency
• Supporting Financial Control, external auditors and wider finance stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Several years’ experience in an accounting role within a large or complex business
• Strong Excel skills and experience with major financial systems
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical capability and confidence working to tight deadlines
• Experience collaborating with offshore teams is highly desirable
• Part‑qualified accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA) with no more than four exams remaining
