I am representing a prominent employer in the Greater Belfast area, seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their dynamic and expanding team. This well-established and renowned organisation boasts a highly experienced finance department and is looking for an ambitious individual to contribute to their continued growth.

Your new role

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts up to the trial balance stage, including the preparation and processing of journals, and the creation of necessary supporting schedules and working papers.

• Assisting the Financial Controller in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring that all income, expenses, liabilities, and assets are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reviewed.

• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.

• Supporting the Financial Controller in the planning, preparation, and delivery of statutory reports, internal and external audits, and the Annual Statutory Accounts within agreed timelines.

What you'll need to succeed

Applicants should be part-qualified with a relevant professional body (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) and have over 2 years of experience in a similar working environment. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in owning and managing financial accounts, as well as experience in developing standard operating procedures and financial processes.
