Permanent Senior Management Accountant job near St Andrews, up to £54k + 39 days AL, 14% pension & hybrid work

Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of their highly prestigious and well established client based just outside St Andrews for a permanent Senior Management Accountant to join their established team. Salary is up to £54,000 + 39 days annual leave, 14% pension contribution and hybrid working (min 2 days a week in office).
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance and with the help of a small team of staff, you will provide excellent management reporting & financial advice to the organisation. You will build strong working relationships with various internal & external stakeholders via extensive finance business partnering. You will complete complex monthly management reporting & financial analysis including variance analysis. You will complete extensive budgeting & forecasting and be comfortable providing advice to senior stakeholders about their budgets. You will be involved in various projects & process & system improvement. You will manage & develop a small team (2 - 3 members of staff).
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA etc.) who has extensive experience completing monthly management accounting, financial analysis & finance business partnering. You will possess excellent IT skills including strong Excel and be comfortable working with large data sets. You will be experienced with budgeting & forecasting. You will have a problem-solving & process improvement mindset. Experience of staff management / supervision is advantageous but not essential.
