Role: Management Accountant/ Finance Manager
Role Type: Interim (3 Months+)Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £250 per day

We’re looking for an experienced finance professional to join a school in Manchester on a temporary basis for approximately 3 months, starting in January 2026. The role will involve key finance deliverables such as the monthly/ termly management accounts, VAT returns and day-to-day transactional postings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly and termly management accounts.
- Complete VAT returns and ensure compliance with VAT regulations.
- Manage investment-related tasks.
- Handle day-to-day transactional postings.
- Support finance operations without any line management responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in management accounting.
- QBE or Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Solid understanding of VAT and related compliance.
- Familiarity with investment processes.
- Comfortable with transactional finance tasks.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to an interim role.
Duration & Start Date
- Start: 5 January 2026 (to allow handover).
- Duration: Approximately 3 months.
