This hybrid opportunity offers a balance of office collaboration and flexible home working.

The Role
As Interim Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reports, supporting both day‑to‑day finance operations and wider organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts.
- Support year‑end processes, including audit preparation and liaison with external auditors.
- Produce accurate financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing cash‑flow management.
- Maintain and enhance internal financial controls and compliance frameworks.
- Partner with non‑finance stakeholders to interpret financial performance and provide commercial insight.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting.

- Part‑qualified accountants (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Fully qualified accountants
- Solid technical accounting experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

- Confident communicator who can build rapport across the organisation.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to improvement
- Day Rate: Up to £250 per day
- Start Date: March 2026 – contract duration could last up to a year
