Accounts Manager, Liverpool

A leading North West based Accountancy firm specialising in the support of SMEs and limited companies are looking to recruit an experienced and diligent Accounts Manager to join their growing team in their Liverpool office. This firm provides a range of accountancy and business advisory services to their expanding client base and is one of the most reputable firms in the North West with over 40 years’ of experience. Your new role

As Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and overview of the accounts team. The portfolio will consist of mainly limited companies and larger corporations in a range of industries. You will prepare accounts and review the work of junior members of staff. You will work closely with an experience team of staff and will have the opportunity to continue your professional development, and have the opportunity to win work and bring business to the firm.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience handling a portfolio of clients and have a background in practice. You will also need strong IT and technical skills with experience in accounts software. This candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience (QBE). Excellent organisational and time management skills will make you an excellent candidate for this role. You will need to be able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment and have a proactive attitude.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000 dependent on experience.
