Account Manager (Corporate/ Global) – Lloyd’s Broker – 7-month FTC - up to £50,000, City/Hybrid

The Major Risks Practice Division is made up of a team of strong Account Managers who are dedicated to providing the best possible service to their clients. Due to a maternity leave within the Major Risks Practice Division, a 7-month FTC position for an Account Manager has arisen.

Your new role

Your new role as an Account Manager means you will be responsible for managing an assigned book of business whilst building, expanding and solidifying relationships with existing clients. You will be responsible for the day-to-day account management for moderately complex client accounts, alongside leading appropriate resources to address the client's needs. Some of your key responsibilities will include securing existing business whilst also driving new business sales, developing relationships with senior clients, client representatives and buyers. This role may coordinate the work of administrative support and customer service as well as providing support to an Account Executive and/or a Broker Producer.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience working as a Commercial or Corporate Account handler or Account Manager handling large Corporate or Major Risks/Global accounts will contribute to your success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have worked with larger commercial / corporate insurance cross class experience. You will be risk aware in handling customer information, able to work towards targets, pay strong attention to detail and be able to quickly determine critical issues. You will be able to show evidence of rapport-building and customer service skills with excellent communication and social skills. This role requires you to hold a licence, and you must be willing to travel approximately 25% of the time. A bachelor’s degree would be beneficial in this position.
