Senior Business Development Manager - Corporates, Retail, £80,000 + Car/Bonus, Immediate Start!
Our client, one of the UK's leading businesses (whose services range from Grocery/Supermarkets to Financial Services), are looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Manager to generate new revenue with clients across the UK. Working nationally and with full autonomy of your diary, this is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client have been established for over a century and are a household name in the UK. From a Retail perspective they are incredibly competitive across the Grocery space, and are constantly evolving their offering to suit the modern customer. Due to their growth, they are seeking the perfect candidate to join in a Senior BDM capacity, targeting multi-site clients to sell the company's food/branding solutions. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Winning and developing high-value corporate partnerships (focusing on complex/multi-site opportunities)
- Creating and delivering corporate acquisition strategy,
- Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers, positioning the company as their go-to partner
- Leading on complex negotiations and account planning, making sure deals are commercially sound and operationally ready
- Working closely with colleagues to make sure new customers are onboarded smoothly
- Representing the company in the market, raising profile and credibility in the corporate retail space
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of managing and delivering large corporate acquisitions within the Grocery/Supermarket space
- Black-book/network of potential clients to tap into
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to turn insights into action
- Proven track record of winning new contracts
- Track record of hitting targets
- Drive & ambition to over-achieve
- Ability to work independently
- Full, clean UK driving licence
In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:
- Annual bonus (10%)
- Company Car (all business travel fully-expensed)
- Autonomous work schedule / manage own diary - expectation to be in Company HQ once every 1/2 weeks
- Private healthcare
- 28 days holiday + Bank Holidays
