Your new role

Your duties and responsibilities will include

• Debtors review, resolution of account queries and management of debt recovery.
• To ensure timely and accurate entry of financial information into SAP
• Daily submission of invoices to company bank and drawdown of cash
• Completion of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations and revaluations
• Misc GL postings.
• Accruals / Prepayments.
• Support month end close and reporting.
• Assist with VAT returns and Intrastat returns
• Supporting the annual audit
• To provide and suggest areas of process improvement to increase efficiency and reduce operational cost.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the Senior Management Accountant

You will also be required to undertake other duties as and when required

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you must possess the following attributes-

• SAP FI/SD/MM competence.
• Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups/Pivot Tables)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook/E-mail.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills in order to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and monthly closures.
• Ability to organise work effectively and efficiently – organising and prioritising multiple tasks.
