Key Account Manager – GI/HPB Oncology (12-Month Maternity Cover)
Territory: Northern Region – South Coast including South West and South East
Full-Time | Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional with a passion for oncology? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing oncology team in a 12-month maternity cover role, focused on GI/HPB cancers.

About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, market access, and advocacy development across key accounts. You’ll work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure eligible patients have access to innovative therapeutic options, while supporting the wider oncology team in delivering strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets and drive market access initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective territory business plans.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and therapeutic area experts.
  • Educate stakeholders on GI/HPB product indications.
  • Ensure products are positioned within local treatment guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, and medical.
  • Maintain continuity and business performance during the maternity cover period.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Oncology experience is essential; GI/HPB and targeted therapy experience are highly desirable.
  • Strong scientific acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work with complex data and adapt quickly to existing plans.
  • ABPI qualified with a Life Sciences or Scientific degree.
