A successful Managed Services Provider requires a Second Line Engineer.

Your Role
As a Senior Engineer, the successful candidate will play a key role within a high-performing technical team. This position involves providing expert-level support, resolving complex technical issues, and mentoring junior team members. The role requires a proactive and solutions-focused individual who can take ownership of high-level incidents and drive them to resolution efficiently. The Senior Engineer will also contribute to service improvement initiatives and help shape the future of the company’s technical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering 2nd and 3rd line remote support to clients
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Ensuring timely resolution of incidents in line with SLAs
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date support documentation
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to 1st and 2nd line engineers
  • Identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements

What You Need to Succeed
  • Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and associated services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Experience with Windows Server technologies, including Remote Desktop Services and Certificate Services
  • Familiarity with security appliances such as SonicWALL, WatchGuard, or FortiGate
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms like Hyper-V and VMware
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP/DNS, Firewalls)
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous improvement
