2 LOD Operational Resilience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operational Resilience professional to join a growing Group Risk function. This role reports into the Operational Resilience Manager and will play a key part in shaping and delivering Operational Resilience across the organisation.
We are seeking a collaborative subject matter expert who can work closely with the Group second line of defence, key stakeholders, customers, and first line teams to drive robust, effective resilience capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the delivery of major Group‑led Operational Resilience initiatives, including the ongoing development and enhancement of the organisation’s Operational Resilience Framework. Core areas of responsibility include:
Contributing to the uplift and refinement of Group Operational Resilience frameworks, supporting the update of seven existing frameworks (with the potential for consolidation) and an associated set of standards.
Supporting the design and implementation of a Group‑wide Service Catalogue, including development of service tiering criteria.
Working collaboratively with Group 2LoD and 1LoD functions to embed consistent, effective resilience practices across the enterprise.
Ideal Experience
Demonstrable experience as a subject matter expert in Operational Resilience.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence across both 1LoD and 2LoD environments.
A proactive and structured approach to framework development and continuous improvement.
The ability to contribute to complex group‑level initiatives in a regulated environment.
