Year 6 Teacher position in Walsall, Starting in January

Are you an experienced and confident Year 6 teacher looking for a new challenge in the new year? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a thriving primary academy with a strong commitment to excellence and inclusivity. The role:
  • Full responsibility for a Year 6 class, focusing on SATs preparation and progress.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and raise attainment.
  • PPA time will be allocated to support planning and preparation.
  • Work closely with a dedicated Teaching Assistant who supports pupils with additional needs and EHCP plans.
  • Liaise effectively with the TA to ensure tailored support for individual children.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Year 6 and preparing pupils for SATs.
  • Strong classroom management and ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
