Are you an experienced and motivated primary teacher ready to take on an exciting challenge? At Hays Education, we are working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Preston to recruit a Year 6 Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

Your new role

You will lead a Year 6 class through their final year of primary education, preparing pupils for SATs and ensuring they are ready for the transition to secondary school. The school values high standards, creativity, and a nurturing approach to learning, offering excellent resources and a collaborative team environment.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching KS2, ideally Year 6
• Strong classroom management and ability to raise attainment
• Confidence in preparing pupils for SATs and supporting their academic and personal development
