Your new role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a dedicated team on a temporary basis, starting after February half-term until Easter in the first instance, with the probability of the placement extending beyond. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, preparing pupils for the transition to senior school and ensuring they thrive both academically and personally. Key responsibilities include:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for entrance exams and SATs where applicable.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence and curiosity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching Key Stage 2.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate for a range of abilities.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for inspiring young learners and maintaining high standards.
