Job Title: Year 5 General Teaching Assistant with some SEN

Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in St Helens seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join their team starting in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the classroom and support pupils in achieving their full potential. This is a General Teaching Assistant position with some SEN in the class.

• Provide classroom support to the Year 5 teacher and pupils.
• Assist with small group and one-to-one interventions.
• Supporting children with SEN.
• Help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in KS2 is essential.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning.
• Available to start full time in January
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Full right to work in the UK
