Your new role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support the Schools Year 5 pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to help deliver tailored support, ensuring all children feel confident and included in their learning journey.
The role will involve but not subject to:

A fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension or permanent employment
A dedicated consultant from Hays Education who will provide you with advice, guidance, and support throughout your placement
Access to free online training courses
A specially written CV by an experienced Hays Consultant

Your new role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support the Schools Year 5 pupils with Special Educational Needs. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to help deliver tailored support, ensuring all children feel confident and included in their learning journey.
The role will involve but not subject to:
Assisting in the classroom to support SEN pupils in Year 5
Support pupils following an individual education plan
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
Liaise with teachers and SEN coordinators to monitor pupil progress
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Complete relevant training and contribute to team meetings
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with children, ideally in an educational or SEN setting
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children learn.
Full right to work in the UK
Relevant qualifications are desirable
DBS on the update service
