Your new school

You will be working at this Warrington two-form entry primary as interim class teacher for a Year 4 class from November until January / February time

Your new role

You will take on full class teacher responsibilities for approximately a 12 week period to cover aplanned period of absence.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils across a range of subjects.
• Create a calm and engaging learning environment, even on short notice.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines.
• Ensure continuity of learning and support for pupils during staff absences.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 2.
• A flexible, proactive and professional approach.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with pupils and staff.
• A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
