Year 4 Teacher – Maternity CoverOctober 2026 – October 2027Primary School | Bloxwich Area


Hays Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bloxwich area to recruit a Year 4 Teacher to cover a full time maternity leave from October 2026 to October 2027.

The Role:
  • Deliver engaging, well structured lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development
  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged
  • Use assessment effectively to inform planning and monitor pupil progress
  • Create and maintain a positive, well organised classroom environment that promotes respect and positive behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with phase partners, support staff, and senior leaders to ensure continuity of learning
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, including attendance at parents’ evenings
  • Participate in open days and school events as required
  • Uphold and actively promote the school’s strong values led ethos on a daily basis
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential)
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and high expectations for all learners
  • The ability to contribute positively to a values driven school community
