Your new role
As the Year 4 Teacher, you will:- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages confidence and curiosity
- Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and plan next steps
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to ensure the best outcomes.
- Play an active role in the wider school community and extracurricular opportunities
Both experienced teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply—your enthusiasm and commitment matter most.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching in KS2 (placement experience is acceptable)
- Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for all pupils
- A creative approach to planning and delivering lessons
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
