Your new role

• Choose the working pattern that suits you—whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or full-time consistency
• Deliver engaging lessons using materials provided by the school
• Complete marking in line with school policies and expectations
• Provide a concise summary of the day’s progress for the class teacher
• Demonstrate a strong grasp of the Year 4 curriculum, including core subjects like English and maths
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages pupil development and enthusiasm

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to work on a flexible or regular basis
• Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, with a focus on Year 4
• Confident classroom presence and clear communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teaching assistants and school staff
• A caring and inclusive teaching approach that supports varied learning abilities
• Professionalism and warmth when interacting with pupils, parents, and school teams
