Hays Education are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Runcorn to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher for an ongoing role starting in September 2026.
Your new role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will play a key role in supporting pupils as they transition into KS2, ensuring a smooth and positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum.
- Support pupils’ transition from KS1 into KS2
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress effectively.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
- Contribute to the wider life and community of the school
What you’ll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for engaging and inspiring learners
- The ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
