KS3 Teacher in BD8

Start Date: After Easter 2026
Location: BD8, Bradford
Contract: Until the end of the academic year
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

I am currently assisting a warm, inclusive primary school in the BD8 area as they look to appoint a skilled Year 3 teacher for the summer term. This full‑time position will begin after Easter and run through to July.

About the Class
This Year 3 cohort includes several pupils with additional SEND needs, and the school is seeking a practitioner who can provide thoughtful differentiation, calm guidance, and consistent structure. You will work closely with support staff, SENCO guidance, and established routines to ensure that every child feels understood, supported, and able to make steady progress. The role will suit someone who is patient, adaptable, and confident working within an inclusive classroom environment.

What the School Needs
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Lower KS2
  • A strong understanding of supporting pupils with SEND, including adapting provision and working collaboratively with TAs
  • A warm, steady approach to behaviour that reinforces clear expectations
  • Creativity, resilience, and the ability to personalise learning to meet varied needs

What the School Offers
  • A nurturing, pupil‑centred ethos
  • Experienced SEND support and a proactive SENCO
  • Helpful teaching assistants who know the pupils well
  • Pay aligned to the MPS/UPS scale, depending on experience
