Year 3 Teacher in BD12, Bradford

Start Date: After Easter 2026
Location: BD12, Bradford
Contract: Until the end of the academic year
Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

I am working on behalf of a supportive and nurturing primary school in the BD12 area that is seeking an experienced Year 3 teacher to join them after Easter. This full‑time position will run until July.

The Role
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class that includes a number of pupils who are currently working below age‑related expectations. The school requires a teacher who can deliver clear, structured learning, provide targeted support, and build pupils’ confidence through consistent routines and well‑paced lessons.
A key part of the role will be establishing firm, fair behaviour expectations and maintaining a purposeful classroom environment where all learners feel secure and able to thrive.

Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have recent teaching experience within KS2, ideally Lower Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills and the ability to create calm, orderly routines
  • Be confident in supporting low‑level or lower‑attaining learners, including adapting tasks and delivering interventions
  • Bring resilience, clarity, and a proactive approach to raising attainment

What the School Can Offer
  • Supportive senior leadership who value consistency and teamwork
  • Pupils who respond well to structure and encouragement
  • A friendly staff team committed to improving outcomes
  • Pay in line with the MPS/UPS scale, depending on experience

If you are a capable and confident Year 3 teacher who can bring strong classroom management and a steady approach to supporting lower‑attaining pupils, I would be pleased to discuss this opportunity with you.
