Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• Plan and deliver engaging Year 2 lessons that spark curiosity and deepen understanding
• Create a warm, emotionally safe classroom where children feel confident taking risks.
• Support pupils’ transition toward KS2 expectations through well‑structured learning
• Differentiate and scaffold learning to ensure every child makes progress
• Encourage independence and reflective thinking in daily routines and learning tasks
• Work collaboratively with the KS1 team to share ideas and maintain consistency.
