Year 2 Teacher Required at Preston Primary School after Half Term

Are you a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and welcoming primary school? Hays Education are working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in Preston to recruit a Year 2 Teacher to start immediately after the October half-term.

Your new role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving school community that places children at the heart of everything they do. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons to a Year 2 class, supporting pupils in their academic and personal development, and working collaboratively with a strong KS1 team.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 2
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and phonics
  • Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
